First Post of the Year

I seemed to have dropped off the face of the earth with my blogging, but I am back and I have not been MIA when it has come down to my health. Still going strong at the gym and even upgraded my membership to include the fitness classes. I have tried a step class, a strength training body pump class and a good old Pilate's class. My favorite is the Body Pump class. So I am getting more use of my membership overall and seeing my home gym a little less often. But my body needed a little change of pace. And the classes are doing it for me.

My weight and measurements have pretty much stayed the same give or take a 1/4 of an inch or 1lb or 2. Any I am completely OK with that. i am where i want to be where maintenance is concerned. But of course as beach vacation get closer I tighten up the reins with eating and my workouts. Have one coming up in March, so in the next few weeks my workouts will get a little more intense and the eating will be super clean!

My workout today was back and I got a 1/2 dozen sets of abs in there. Tonight I a hoping to get some cardio in at the gym. But the weather will dictate that outing :) Or I can simply get on my treadmill at home or bike, hey maybe even the elipitical. Today is a start to a great week I can feel it. Have my workouts planned out. The one I will do at the gym and the ones I will do from home. And of course with my daughter a couple of skating ventured out to the rink pad :)Got to get in some free skate time with my little girl :)
